Food Fosters is an initiative calling you to explore the connection that food creates between culture, community, and creativity.

 

Youth aged 15-30* in Calgary and area are eligible to join the Food Fosters Challenge starting January 2024. Deepen connections and explore creativity and storytelling through food, earn volunteer hours, and have the chance to win delicious prizes. 

All ages are welcome to virtual Food For Thought sessions that will feature local champions using food to enhance Calgary's community. If you're registered for the challenge you'll earn bonus points for attending virtual sessions.

FOOD FOSTERS EVENTS

January-February  2024

Food Fosters Challenge began, with participants  earning points by exploring the the connection between food and creativity as you complete activities.

 February -March  2024

Join virtual Food for Thought sessions to learn more about each theme within Calgary. Gain bonus points by attending Food for Thought if you're registered for the challenge.

March 7, 2024

Food Fosters Challenge Community Showcase and Awards- Join us for a chance to experience the Food Fosters Challenge and celebrate the challenge winners.
